One of the common complains we hear from our patients is diffuse shoulder pain especially with movement rather than rest. The first thing our patients do is to visit an orthopedic physician which refer the patient to have medications such as analgesics and muscle relaxants and if the pain persists they refer them to do radiological investigations which most commonly appears normal or demonstrate findings which is not necessary related to the symptoms. One of the common related criteria to this case is when the patients takes muscle relaxants the pain subsides but once he stops the medications recurrence of pain occurs. When this patient visits us during the assessment it is very important to assess the two scapulae and their malalignments. Then it is important to translate these malalignments in the form of overactive and inhibited muscles and consider them in the plan of treatment in order to regain the muscle balance and bony realignment.
